What you need to know for Indefinite Leave to Remain

Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) is an immigration status that non EEA migrants can apply for, once they have been living here in the UK for the appropriate number of years. This visa is also called “permanent residency” or “settlement visa” and means holders are no longer under immigration control. They are free to work for any firm or be self-employed.
