Minimum salary requirements for ILR applications confirmed

The long awaited minimum £35,000 p.a. salary threshold for ILR applicants starts on 5 April, but the UKVI have still not explained in print how close to the application date the applicants salary can be lifted to the £35k qualifying amount, until now!
