Our Guidance on Priority & Standard Service

Priority service – decision in five working days

The Priority service aims to make a decision on your application in five working days from the date of the biometric appointment. The service costs £500; this is in addition to the application and biometric enrolment fee.

Once you have booked the service, you must choose a date to attend a free-of-charge appointment. If a free-of-charge appointment is not available, it is possible to pay to book one at short notice, which costs upwards of £100.

Standard service – decision in 8 – 26 weeks (dependent on visa category)

The Standard service is free-of-charge, but does mean that the decision process will take considerably longer. You will also be restricted to travel out of the UK during the waiting period.

Please note that that the service standards do not include the time taken to issue the Biometric Residence Permit (BRP). You will usually receive your BRP within seven working days after a decision has been made on your application.

How much will it cost?

UKVI charge £610 per applicant/dependant for this enhanced service.

These guaranteed terms are conditional upon the client being able to demonstrate to the satisfaction of the Home Office that they have earned the income claimed or that they have the necessary funding in place for maintenance or are fully conversant with their business plan in the case of Tier 1 Entrepreneurs.

It also presumes that neither the applicant nor their dependants have previously come under scrutiny or been under investigation by the Home Office for any immigration matter. In order that we can do our job properly the necessary information and details required should be made available and they must genuine as well as accurate.
